I have a Linksys WRT1900AC router with a similar problem. I have two identical Dell Inspiron laptops running Windows 10 and a wired connection to the router. One laptop has been working flawlessly to connect to an HP P1006 printer on the router's USB port. The other laptop occasionally has been getting the "could not find router" message.
