The combined installer is only 1.66x the size of the old 64-bit installer, or 1.93x larger than the 32-bit installer. Significant increase indeed, but the total size (3724 KB) is still quite reasonable imho. Superuser.com hints that running the installer from a 32-bit command prompt might do the trick. I tested that with a 32-bit Powershell prompt in Windows 2012r2 64-bit and it did not fool the installer into thinking it runs in a 32-bit OS.. For Windows 10 64-bit, you would select the "Installer (64-bit) Windows Vista and Later". At the time of writing, the file you would end up downloading is called openvpn-install-2.3.8-1601-x86_64.exe. Be aware that this filename will change as new versions of the OpenVPN client software are released.
Alright, couldn=B4t keep my hand off this, so I've made an attempt to det= ect=20 if we're running on a 64-bit system and automatically install the correct= =20 driver. Please let me know how it works as I havn=B4t been able to test in on any= =20 64-bit systems.
